## The marks

Two marks. The logotype reads past.dev: three bars and the wordmark. The symbol is the three bars alone, for favicons, avatars and small spaces. Both are monochrome: white on dark, black on light.

The third bar is separated by a gap of exactly one square bar. That gap is the brand's one gesture; never close it, never even it out.

## Clearspace and size

Keep clearspace around either mark equal to the width of the square bar. Minimum height: 16px for the symbol, 20px for the logotype. Below that, use the symbol only.

## Type

DM Sans for everything, weight 450 for display with -0.028em tracking. JetBrains Mono for code and wire identifiers. No other faces.

## Rules

Use the files on this page. Do not redraw, recolor, rotate, stretch, outline, or add shadows and gradients. Do not set the wordmark in another font. Do not place a mark on the accent color. Do not use the old circular dot anywhere: dots in this system are small rounded dashes.

The name is past.dev: lowercase, with the dot, even at the start of a sentence. The dot is what separates the name from the word past. Never Past, never PAST, never a bare past. The company is Past Corp.

## Colors

- Black: #000000. The ground, and the marks on light.
- White: #FFFFFF. The marks and text on dark.
- Accent: #C2410C. Sparingly, never inside a sentence, never as a logo color.
