# Terms of service

> The terms for the website, the Memory API, the console and the MCP server, during early access.

## The parties

These terms are between you and Revo Inc., doing business as Past Corp., for the use of past.dev: the website, the Memory API, the console, and the MCP server.

By requesting access, creating an account, or calling the API, you accept these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it.

## Early access

Access is approved manually. A request is a request; an account exists once we create it and send you the sign-in details. We may decline a request without giving a reason.

During early access the service can change between releases. The changelog records what changed. We tell account holders by email before a change removes a capability they use.

## Accounts and API keys

An account belongs to an organization. Every user of the organization reaches every project in it. API keys are organization-level and name their project.

You are responsible for the keys minted in your console and for every call made with them. Revoke a key you no longer control from the console.

## Acceptable use

Send only content you have the right to send. Do not send content that is unlawful where you or we operate, that infringes someone's rights, or that you are bound to keep confidential from us.

Do not probe, load-test, or interfere with the service beyond the rate limits your plan states. Do not resell access to the API as such; building a product on it is what it is for.

## Your data

You own what you send and what the service derives from it for your project. The privacy page describes what is stored, who can see it, and that your content is not used to train models.

You can export your data and delete a project at any time. Deleting a source deletes what was derived from it.

## Fees

The pricing page states the plans, the credit rule, and the top-up packs. Fees are charged as the plan describes. Enterprise terms, including fees, are set in the annual agreement.

We may change published prices with 30 days' notice by email to account holders. A change applies to the next billing period.

## Availability and support

The service is provided as described in the documentation. Outside an Enterprise agreement there is no service level commitment. The status of the API is reported at its health endpoint.

Support is provided at the level the plan states: community, email, or Slack and Teams with an account manager.

## Termination

You can close your account at any time from the console or by writing to us. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why, except where the breach is unlawful use.

On closure you have 30 days to export your data, after which it is deleted.

## Liability

The service is provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss.

## Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes are brought in the courts of San Francisco, California.
